Having a design is a good start. But a design file and a functioning website are two very different things.
Liz had built something worth backing. A cookbook brand rooted in her own experience with disordered eating, a philosophy that pushes back against diet culture, and a product range, high-protein, low-calorie recipes, that actually resonated with people. The vision was clear. The design was ready. What didn't exist yet was the website.
So our team at Modalys got to work.
The challenge
The challenge
Bite Back needed more than a page to display products. It needed a proper e-commerce system, something customers could browse, purchase through, and manage their orders on without friction. The UI had to match the energy of the brand: bold, direct, and built for someone who's done with complicated.
The design gave us the direction. Everything else had to be built.

Our solution
Modalys developed the entire site from the ground up. Custom build, no shortcuts. The product catalogue, the order placement system, and the account functionality were all engineered to fix the real purchasing experience.
The UI/UX work was done with the end user in mind throughout. Every interaction, browsing cookbooks, adding to cart, completing a purchase, was built to feel natural and fast. The kind of experience where nothing gets in the way of the customer and what they came to buy.

Bite Back has a website that works as hard as the brand does. Products are easy to find, easy to buy, and the system behind it all runs cleanly.
Liz had the vision. Modalys built the infrastructure to support it.
